More Than a Gift

Sitti Soap Bar

The tradition of olive oil soap making has been passed down from generation-to-generation of Palestinian women. Each bar is made from all-natural extra virgin olive oil, sustainably sourced from local farms in Jerash, Jordan. Every bar is handmade by our talented team of women soap artisans in Jerash Refugee Camp.

Sitti Saffron Soap Bar

The Sitti Saffron Soap Bar is a luxurious face bar with two skinpampering ingredients: saffron and olive oil. Our saffron is sustainably sourced from local farming communities in the historic plains of Herat, on the edge of ancient Persia. The saffron in Herat is considered one of the most potent Crocus-Sativus Saffron flowers available. Each Sitti Saffron Soap Bar is handmade in Jerash Refugee Camp using the cold-press method.

Sitti Wooden Soap Dish

Our Wooden Soap Dish is uniquely designed and crafted to keep soap dry and longer lasting after each use. Sitti Wooden Soap Dishes are made by Hassan, an artisan carpenter in the Jerash Camp Rehabilitation Center’s carpentry workshop. As a member of the camp’s disabled community, Hassan’s inability to hear does not undermine his passion and dedication to his craft. We are incredibly grateful for Hassan and for the other members of our Sitti Soap community who bring their unique talents and determination to work each and every day. The Sitti Wooden Soap Dish is available in two styles: 1) Pine wood and 2) Oak wood. Our pine wood is a light raw wood and our Oak wood is a more luxurious heavier wood.

Sitti x Millie Gift Box

Proceeds from this exclusive gift box go towards the Hopes for Women in Education Scholarship Fund for refugee women to attend university in Jordan. In partnership with Millie, Sitti created this box with a full skincare routine in-mind. Each gift box contains one Sitti soap bar and one Sitti saffron soap face bar, as well as a handmade wooden soap dish and loofah.

Sitti x Deerah Hand-Embroidered Tote Bag

Sitti has formed a collaboration with fellow social enterprise, Deerah, to create an exclusively designed handmade, handembroidered tote bag. Each tote bag is sewn by Syrian women in Zaatari Refugee Camp, and then embroidered by Palestinian women in Jerash Refugee Camp. One bag generates over 20 hours of employment for the refugee community in Jordan. Every tote bag is 100% cotton with extra woven handles for additional strength, and embroidered with DMC Cotton Perle Thread using the passeddown tradition of Palestinian embroidery (tatreez).

Customizable Wooden Box: Sitti x Beaux Box

Beaux Box is a socially aware gift box manufacturer based in Toronto which offers reusable wooden boxes. Each box is made by talented artisans with disabilities in Canada. Sitti’s partnership with Beaux Box allows our gifting clients to customize artisan crafted pine wood boxes, handmade and packaged with love by Beaux Box’s team.

Custom box packaging orders require a minimum of 50 units purchased, and 3 weeks notice in advance of shipping date. All items are handmade, and advanced notice allows our team to create your gift with expertise and attention to detail.

Sitti x Galilee Gift Box (United Kingdom)

The Galilee Foundation “empowers underprivileged Palestinian youth in Palestine/Israel by giving them the tools & skills needed to become changemakers.”

Sitti worked with The Galilee Foundation to create a unique box to gift organizational stakeholders, with additional gift sets for purchase through Sitti’s e-commerce site.

Proceeds from each box went towards educational scholarships for Palestinian students.

The Limited Edition Sitti x Millie Gift Box (Canada)

Millie is a social enterprise that creates authentic and artfully curated experiences for women through travel and beyond.

Millie approached Sitti to create a gift set for attendees at the Millie Speaks Conference series. The box was designed with the organization’s mission of “artfully curated experiences for women” in mind, while also fulfilling their desire to give back to women’s education through additional box sales outside of the event.

Proceeds of the Limited Edition box continue to support higher education scholarships for women and girls in Jerash Refugee Camp through Hopes for Women in Education.

Sitti x THAT Concept Store, Mall of the Emirates (UAE)

THAT Concept Store is a collection of international and regional brands from established and emerging designers that style who you are. As a Majid Al Futtaim concept store, THAT opened its doors to a regional and global audience of customers interested in a new shopping experience.

THAT approached Sitti looking for a curated experience within each box that would be on shelves for the concept store’s launch in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates. Sitti worked closely with Majid al Futtaim to create the custom design and feel they envisioned, within their budget and timeline.
